ESTIMATE £8500 - £9250. Chassis number 7995155658. This CENTAUR is car number 75 of 118 ever produced. These are now extremely rare cars as developed by Crayford and produced by Magraw Engineering and officially approved by Vauxhall for sale through its dealerships as manufactured between August 1978 and 1979, costing in the region of £8000 which would have included the optional Campagnolo Magnesium Alloys. Of the 118 examples produced it is believed only 20 or so exist today. Built with a T Bar for strengthening these cars where designed to fill the gap in the market left by the Triumph Stag. This particular example retains its original service booklet showing the first owner residing in Hove and 2 service stamps at 495 miles during January 1981 and 2975 miles during March 1982 along with an MOT history from 1984 with record of 28 certificates starting from June 1984 at 08521 miles through to 44251 miles during April 2026 with the current advisory free MOT expiring April 2027. The history file contains details of a replacement Mohair Hood an original Crayford Brochure along with other paperwork. The V5 shows the car registered as a convertible. The car has been with the current registered keeper since October 2013 and is known to the owners group being believed to be the lowest mileage example in existence.
